Reports surrounding Tom Hardy and the future of crime drama MobLand have raised questions after several entertainment outlets claimed the actor will not return for a potential third season after alleged disputes behind the scenes.

According to reports published this week, Hardy was reportedly removed from the series after disagreements during production on season two. Several reports claimed there were tensions between the actor and members of the production team, including executive producer Jez Butterworth.

The reports allege Hardy repeatedly arrived late to set, pushed for dialogue changes and became frustrated with the direction of the series. The show reportedly shifted into a broader ensemble production featuring Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan alongside Hardy.

None of the claims have been officially confirmed by Hardy or Paramount+, though the reports have been widely discussed online and across entertainment media.

While some outlets described the situation as a firing, others suggested discussions about Hardy’s future on the series are still ongoing. One report stated the actor’s status remains uncertain, with negotiations still taking place.

The reports come as the show remains one of Paramount+’s most-watched series following its 2025 launch. Created by Ronan Bennett and backed by Guy Ritchie, MobLand was heavily promoted around Hardy’s role as fixer Harry Da Souza.

Fans online have already questioned whether the series can keep viewers interested without him. On Reddit and other discussion platforms, many viewers described Hardy as the show’s main draw, with some predicting a decline in viewer interest if he exits permanently.

The reports have also brought renewed attention to Hardy’s reputation for clashes on demanding productions. Previous accounts from the filming of Mad Max: Fury Road detailed tensions between Hardy and co-star Charlize Theron, although both actors later spoke publicly about the pressures involved during production.

Despite the speculation, season two of MobLand has already completed filming and is still expected to premiere later this year. It remains unclear whether Hardy’s character will be written out completely, given a reduced role, or return if negotiations improve.

Cynthia Erivo received a royal honor for her contributions to musical arts on May 19, 2026, where she was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire at an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle. The award was presented to her by Prince William.

This is not her first connection with the royal family. Erivo was among a group of alumni who welcomed King Charles and Queen Camilla to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in May 2024 as part of the school’s 120th anniversary celebration.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay could soon compete commercially with Brooklyn Beckham after reports emerged that he has trademarked a new hot sauce brand linked to his restaurant business.

According to information gathered from “Trademarkia”, Ramsay recently filed a trademark for “Hotter Than Hell by Gordon Ramsay”, a name already associated with spicy relishes served in some of his restaurants. The filing has led to suggestions that the chef may be preparing to expand into the retail condiment market.

If the launch goes ahead, Ramsay would enter the same celebrity hot sauce market that Brooklyn Beckham stepped into in 2024 with his Cloud23 brand. Beckham’s sauces, which include flavours such as Hot Habanero and Sweet Jalapeño, were marketed toward younger consumers interested in food and lifestyle trends.

The development has also drawn attention because Ramsay and the Beckham family have maintained a close friendship for years. Earlier this year, Ramsay publicly addressed Brooklyn’s reported tensions with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, describing the situation as “very difficult” while saying his relationship with Brooklyn remained positive.

For now, no official release date or product range has been confirmed for Ramsay’s reported venture. Still, the trademark filing alone has prompted discussion about whether the television chef is preparing to compete directly with Brooklyn Beckham in the growing hot sauce market.

If both brands eventually appear on the same shelves, the competition may focus less on celebrity connections and more on which product performs better with consumers.
