Beckhams Make a Paris Appearance Together Amid Brooklyn Beckham Drama

David and Victoria Beckham appeared in Paris on 26 January 2026 with three of their four children, marking their first public family appearance since their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, shared a widely circulated statement about tensions within the family. The timing coincided with Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and Victoria Beckham’s investiture as a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, a cultural honour awarded by the French Ministry of Culture in recognition of her work in fashion.

The family arrived together, David and Victoria at the centre, accompanied by Harper, Romeo and Cruz. Brooklyn was absent. The appearance attracted immediate attention in British and international media, not for its formality but for its proximity to Brooklyn’s remarks, in which he described what he characterised as controlling dynamics within the family and said that distance had brought him a degree of personal stability. He also indicated that reconciliation was not a priority.
Neither David nor Victoria Beckham has issued a public response. No statement, clarification or rebuttal has followed. Paris marked the first time the family had appeared together since the comments entered public discussion, and the occasion passed without any direct reference to them.

The event itself was deliberately limited in scope. Victoria attended in a professional capacity, receiving a state-backed cultural honour rather than engaging in a fashion showcase or social appearance. In her remarks, she thanked her family for their support and spoke about her work. David later acknowledged the achievement publicly. The tone throughout was formal and contained.
Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, remained in the United States. Shortly after the Paris appearance, Nicola shared a personal video featuring the couple. The timing drew attention, placing the two moments in contrast without any explicit interaction.

What distinguished the Paris appearance was its reserve. By anchoring their first collective public showing to an institutional event, the Beckhams allowed attention to rest on professional recognition rather than family dispute. The shift was subtle, achieved without explanation and shaped largely by absence.
Brooklyn’s position remains unchanged. His remarks stand, and the family has not addressed them publicly. The Paris appearance did not attempt to resolve the situation. Instead, it set a clear boundary, maintaining public commitments while leaving the disagreement outside official view.

Brooklyn Beckham shocks fans after cooking pasta with seawater aboard luxury yacht

Brooklyn Beckham has sparked debate after a cooking video showing him preparing pasta with seawater aboard a yacht resurfaced online.

The 27-year-old originally shared the video in 2025, but it has recently attracted fresh attention, with viewers questioning his decision to use water scooped directly from the sea to cook the pasta.

In the video, Beckham introduces the dish as tomato pasta before scooping seawater from beside the yacht with a container. He then brings it into the kitchen and uses it to cook spaghetti.

The rest of the recipe is more familiar. Beckham prepares a tomato sauce using cherry tomatoes, oil, seasoning and hot sauce from his Cloud 23 brand. He cooks the spaghetti, combines it with the sauce and finishes the dish with cheese and what appears to be a Parmesan crisp.

The use of seawater drew most of the criticism. Some viewers questioned the safety of collecting water from the sea, particularly from an area close to a boat, where the water could potentially be exposed to pollutants, fuel residues and other contaminants.

Boiling seawater can kill many microorganisms, but it does not remove every possible contaminant. The source of the water is therefore an important consideration when deciding whether it is suitable for cooking.

The salt content is another issue. Seawater contains considerably more salt than the water normally used to cook pasta, meaning that using it undiluted can make the dish excessively salty.

The choice has also raised questions because Beckham was cooking aboard a yacht, where fresh water would ordinarily be available. This led some viewers to question why he opted to collect seawater for such a simple dish.

Beckham’s interest in cooking has been well documented. He began sharing more cooking content during lockdown and later presented Cookin’ With Brooklyn, an eight-episode food series released in 2021. The series saw him prepare dishes alongside professional chefs.

His cooking videos have continued to attract attention, with the seawater pasta becoming one of his more unusual recipes. The video also features Cloud 23 hot sauce, bringing his food brand into the recipe.

The debate has centred less on the tomato pasta itself and more on the decision to use untreated seawater. While seawater can be used in some culinary settings, water collected directly from the sea is not necessarily equivalent to food-grade seawater or treated water.

Beckham has not appeared to give a detailed explanation for choosing seawater in the video. For viewers, that decision remains the most controversial part of the recipe.

Meghan Markle responds to Martha Stewart’s comments on King Charles dinner party discussion

Meghan Markle has responded to comments made by Martha Stewart about a recent dinner party in California, where the pair were both guests.

Stewart, speaking to PEOPLE for a cover story marking her 85th birthday, said Meghan had recently returned from the UK and was discussing her trip.

“I had dinner with Meghan Markle the other night,” Stewart said. “We were both guests at a dinner party in California, and she had just gotten back from the palace.”

Stewart said she had spoken to Meghan only briefly but suggested the Duchess had been talking about her recent trip.

Her account has since been disputed by the person who hosted the dinner. The host told PEOPLE that they sat beside Meghan during the meal and said she did not discuss the details of her European holiday or her meeting with King Charles.

“Meghan didn’t talk about her European vacation other than to say the family had a great time,” the host said.

The conflicting accounts follow a private family meeting between King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince Harry and Meghan, which took place shortly before the dinner.

On 10 July, the King and Queen met Harry and Meghan’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire. The meeting was significant because Charles had not seen Archie and Lilibet in person since 2022.

Stewart referred to Meghan as having returned from “the palace”, although the meeting with Charles took place at Highgrove House, the King’s country residence.

Meghan later shared photographs from the family’s European holiday, including their time in Portugal and a visit to Althorp in Northamptonshire.

Stewart’s comments also revived discussion around Meghan’s lifestyle brand and her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. Asked about Meghan’s move into lifestyle television, Stewart was sceptical.

“If you’re an actress, it’s hard to then transition to a princess and then from a princess into a homemaking guru on a television show,” Stewart said. “It doesn’t sort of follow.”

However, the central dispute remains what Meghan actually discussed at the California dinner.

There is no independent evidence that she spoke about her meeting with Charles. The dinner host has disputed Stewart’s account, saying Meghan only mentioned that her family had enjoyed their holiday.

For now, the two accounts differ, leaving the details of the conversation unclear.

Ariana Grande has withdrawn from her planned West End debut, putting her first major London stage role on hold as she plans to take a break from public appearances after months of public discussion about her appearance.

The Grammy-winning singer and actress had been due to star alongside Jonathan Bailey in a new London revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George at the Barbican Theatre in 2027. The production would have marked Grande’s West End debut, returning her to the musical theatre roots that launched her career before she became a global pop star and actress.

The show’s producers confirmed that Grande would no longer be part of the production and said they fully support her decision. A replacement has not yet been announced, while the revival is expected to go ahead as scheduled.

According to her representatives, Grande intends to take a break from public appearances after completing her Eternal Sunshine Tour, which concludes in London on 1 September. The break follows an intensive period of touring and continued public discussion about her appearance.

The announcement comes after weeks of online conversation following the release of the music video for her latest single from the album Petal. Some fans expressed concern on social media, while others urged people to stop speculating about her appearance and respect her privacy. Grande has previously spoken about the impact of comments on her body, encouraging people not to make assumptions about someone else’s health.

Despite stepping away from the stage production, Grande’s current commitments remain unchanged. She is continuing her Eternal Sunshine Tour and is also expected to appear in the upcoming comedy film Focker-in-Law later this year.

For now, Grande’s focus remains on completing her tour before taking a break from public appearances. While audiences will have to wait longer to see her on a West End stage, the producers of Sunday in the Park with George have confirmed that the production will continue, with further casting announcements expected in due course.
