Halle Berry Says ‘Yes!’ to Van Hunt

After nearly six years together, Halle Berry and musician Van Hunt have officially taken the next step in their relationship: they are engaged. Berry confirmed the news during a 5 February appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, ending speculation about whether she had accepted Hunt’s proposal. Reports had suggested she declined. Berry corrected that immediately. She told Fallon there was no rejection, only that a wedding date has not been set. She added plainly that she said yes and intends to marry him, then held up her engagement ring for the audience.

The relationship did not begin in a typical celebrity setting. Berry and Hunt were introduced in 2020 by Hunt’s brother during the early months of the pandemic. Their first phase unfolded through phone calls and text messages rather than in-person dates. By the time Berry publicly acknowledged the relationship on social media later that year, it had developed privately. In interviews since then, both have described a partnership grounded in conversation and compatibility.

Hunt, a Grammy-winning musician known for blending rock, soul and funk influences, works outside the Hollywood acting industry. He is not a fixture of tabloid culture, and that distance from the usual celebrity circuit shapes how they present themselves publicly. Their appearances tend to feel informal. The engagement announcement followed the same pattern. It arrived through a late-night interview, not a staged reveal or magazine exclusive, and the tone remained conversational instead of promotional.

Berry’s decision to get engaged is notable because of her history with marriage. She has spoken openly in past interviews about the lessons drawn from her previous marriages and her earlier belief that she no longer needed to marry again to define a relationship. With Hunt, her position shifted gradually. She has described him as a partner she met at a time when she had a clearer sense of what she wanted and what she would no longer negotiate. That context frames the engagement as a deliberate choice.

The ring attracted attention after the Fallon appearance, with coverage focusing on its distinctive design and scale. Berry treated it less as a luxury object and more as a sign of the engagement. She did not frame the moment in exaggerated terms. Instead, she spoke about timing, readiness and being with someone she trusts. There is still no confirmed wedding date, and she did not suggest urgency around planning one. The emphasis stayed on the decision itself.

Justin Bieber made headlines at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, not just for his performance, but for a striking new tattoo.

During his first Grammys performance in four years, Bieber appeared shirtless, wearing only black trousers and socks. Fans immediately noticed a large tattoo on his upper back that appears to be a portrait of his wife, Hailey Bieber. Observers pointed out a clear resemblance, although neither Justin nor Hailey has confirmed the tattoo’s meaning.

Photos and clips circulated online as Bieber turned to the audience, revealing the piece in detail. Social media quickly reacted, with fans praising the apparent tribute while others debated the artistic style and placement. The tattoo joins Bieber’s extensive catalogue of body art, numbering around 60 designs, which reflect his personal life, beliefs, and relationships.

Earlier on the red carpet, Justin and Hailey coordinated in all‑black ensembles. While the tattoo remained hidden then, the reveal added an intimate, personal layer to a night that blended music, fashion, and pop‑culture spectacle.

The performance itself focused on Bieber’s vocals and stage presence, reminding fans of his artistry. Yet it was the tattoo that dominated conversations online. It has cemented its place as one of the most talked-about moments of the night.

Fans also connected the display to the couple’s family life. They welcomed their first child, Jack Bieber, in 2024. For many, the tattoo is seen as a public symbol of devotion and a striking statement on one of music’s biggest stages.

Whether it marks a new chapter in Bieber’s personal story or simply adds to his evolving public image, the tattoo is a moment that is sure to be remembered. It offers a rare glimpse of intimacy in the midst of global attention.

Anthony Joshua Speaks Out After Tragic Loss of Two Close Friends

Published

Anthony Joshua - Instagram

Anthony Joshua appeared in a recent video on his social media channels to speak about the deaths of two close friends. The clip was short and straightforward, with no attempt to present it as an announcement or a career update. Instead, he spoke about the loss without attempting to define or justify it.

The incident occurred in Nigeria in late December and resulted in the deaths of two men who had been closely involved in Joshua’s daily life and work for years. Joshua survived the crash and later confirmed that he has been recovering physically, but the emotional impact, as he explained, remains unresolved. What was intended as a routine visit home became something else entirely, leaving him to deal with the sudden absence of people he had expected to keep moving forward with.

In the video, Joshua was precise in how he spoke about the men he lost. He did not describe them as staff or background figures within his career. He spoke about shared living spaces, constant travel and plans that extended beyond training camps or fight schedules. Their presence, he said, influenced his decisions and routines in ways he only fully recognised after they were gone. Despite being known publicly for his physical strength, Joshua acknowledged that they had provided a sense of security he had not previously examined.

Much of what he said returned to responsibility rather than emotion. His focus was on doing right by the families left behind and continuing what his friends had already been involved in. He avoided turning the loss into symbolism or folding it into a wider story about legacy. There was no attempt to draw lessons from it or present it as part of a personal arc. The emphasis stayed on obligation and practical action.

Joshua also made clear that he is still processing what happened. He did not describe the experience as motivating or clarifying, and he did not suggest that perspective had arrived neatly. The tone of the video reflected uncertainty rather than resolution, and an acceptance that some experiences do not lend themselves to immediate understanding. For now, he indicated, the task is learning how to function in altered circumstances.

Notably absent from the video was any discussion of boxing. Joshua did not reference future fights, rankings or timelines. The omission felt deliberate rather than evasive. People around him have indicated that professional decisions are not being rushed, a position that aligns with the focus of the video itself.

He briefly acknowledged the messages he has received from supporters in the UK and elsewhere. He did not dwell on them, but he made clear that the response has been felt by both him and the families affected.

The video does not act as closure or explanation. It offers no resolution and resists interpretation. What it provides instead is a record of interruption: routine disrupted, priorities reordered, and decisions consciously delayed. It shows Anthony Joshua away from competition and expectation, dealing with loss without attempting to control how it is understood.

In the letter, Ye described his behavior as reckless and said he had lost control during periods of severe mental health episodes. He cited to an undiagnosed brain injury from a 2002 car accident and untreated bipolar disorder, which he said affected his judgment.

“I am not a Nazi or an antisemite. I love Jewish people,”

he wrote, adding that his condition does not excuse the harm caused. He also apologized to the Black community, saying he had let people down who supported him throughout his career.

Ye said he is now receiving professional care, including medication and therapy. He reflected on a prolonged manic episode in 2025, which he said led to some of his most damaging public behavior, including the use of antisemitic language, Nazi imagery, and praise for Adolf Hitler.

Advocacy groups responded with caution. The Anti-Defamation League said the apology was overdue and stressed that words alone cannot erase years of offensive behavior, saying real change would need to be shown through future actions. The latest apology comes after including the loss of partnerships with Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga. With a new album expected soon.
