Travis Barker has revealed the simple relationship rule he and Kourtney Kardashian Barker follow in their marriage: they do not go to bed angry.

The Blink-182 drummer opened up about the couple’s approach to marriage while discussing his new documentary, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear. Barker said the rule is one they have maintained throughout their relationship, offering a rare glimpse into how they handle disagreements behind closed doors.

“We never go to bed angry,” Barker said.

It is a straightforward rule, but one that says plenty about how the couple approach conflict. Instead of allowing an argument to linger without acknowledgement, Barker and Kardashian make a point of addressing what is wrong before ending the day.

The couple have been together since 2021, after years of friendship and knowing each other. They married in 2022, first holding a private ceremony in Santa Barbara before celebrating with a larger wedding in Portofino, Italy. In November 2023, they welcomed their first child together, son Rocky Thirteen.

Their relationship also brought together their existing families. Barker has two children, Landon and Alabama, with his former wife Shanna Moakler, as well as stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya. Kardashian shares three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, with her former partner Scott Disick.

That makes communication particularly important for a couple managing a busy family life alongside demanding careers. Barker is regularly on tour with Blink-182, while Kardashian runs her businesses and continues to appear on television and social media.

The pair have also experienced difficult moments together. Kardashian previously spoke publicly about the miscarriage she experienced during their fertility treatment, while Barker was by her side during the pregnancy that eventually led to the birth of Rocky.

Their relationship has often played out in front of an audience, from their early romance to their wedding celebrations and family life. But Barker’s latest comments offer a glimpse at a less visible part of their marriage: how they deal with disagreements when there is no camera around.

The rule also fits with the way Barker has spoken about the relationship in the past. Rather than presenting marriage as free of conflict, his comments suggest that disagreements are expected and that what matters is how the couple deal with them.

Barker’s documentary, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear, looks at his life and career, including the 2008 plane crash that left him with serious injuries and the years of recovery that followed. Kardashian features in the film alongside people close to the drummer.

For Barker and Kardashian, the marriage rule itself is uncomplicated. Arguments may happen, but they do not want anger to be the last thing between them at the end of the day.

Ariana Grande has fuelled speculation that she and Ricky Alvarez have rekindled their romance after featuring him in a recent Instagram post.

The singer included Alvarez in an Instagram photo dump on 12 August, sharing two pictures of them together. In one, the pair posed in front of a mirror in matching outfits, while another showed them standing close together. Grande also tagged Alvarez in the post, adding to speculation about their relationship.

Grande and Alvarez were first linked in 2015, when Alvarez was one of her dancers during her Honeymoon Tour. They dated for around a year before splitting in 2016, but remained friends afterwards.

Speculation about a reunion resurfaced earlier this year after Alvarez was spotted at Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour, including her Brooklyn show. Grande also made changes to the Alvarez-related lyric during performances of “Thank U, Next”, prompting fans to speculate that the former couple had grown close again.

By July, reports suggested that Grande and Alvarez were seeing each other again and taking things slowly. Grande was also said to value Alvarez’s friendship, humour and support.

Alvarez has remained part of Grande’s circle since their split, and their renewed closeness has become increasingly visible through his appearances during her tour.

Grande’s decision to feature and tag Alvarez on Instagram marks a more public display of their connection. However, neither has publicly confirmed the status of their relationship.

Alvarez also reposted some of Grande’s images on his own Instagram account, giving fans another indication that they are spending time together again.

The pair’s current social-media activity is more public than it was during their first relationship. Alvarez was already familiar with Grande’s world through their time working together, and the two continued their friendship after their 2016 split.

For now, Grande and Alvarez appear to be keeping things relatively private despite their recent Instagram posts. After months of sightings, tour appearances and speculation surrounding Grande’s performances, her latest post has added further weight to rumours that the former couple may be back together.

Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton have offered another glimpse into their relationship, with Hamilton sharing a series of personal photos featuring Kardashian.

The Formula 1 driver posted the images on Instagram on 7 August, captioning the carousel, “Resting, restoring, recharging.” Kardashian appears in several of the photographs, including one in which she walks alongside Hamilton in a two-piece activewear set while flashing a peace sign.

Another photo shows Kardashian wearing heels with a bomber jacket as she poses beside a collie. She also appears in a separate image taken on the set of All’s Fair, alongside Hamilton and her co-star Glenn Close.

The post comes after a series of trips and appearances that have made the pair increasingly open about their relationship. In July, Kardashian shared photographs from a lake holiday that included Hamilton and two of her children, Chicago and Psalm. Hamilton later shared his own photos and videos from the trip, including footage of himself wakeboarding.

Kardashian and Hamilton have known each other for years and were photographed together in 2014, when they were both in other relationships. However, romance speculation surrounding them intensified in early 2026 after they were spotted together on several occasions.

They were linked to trips in Europe before being seen together at the Super Bowl. Hamilton later joined Kardashian and her children in Tokyo, where the family spent time together during a holiday.

By April, the pair had been photographed together at Coachella and later during a beach outing in Malibu, where they were seen kissing and embracing.

Kardashian and Hamilton went Instagram official in June when Kardashian included him in a carousel of photographs from New York. She later travelled to Monaco for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, where she was seen supporting Hamilton before the race.

Their relationship received another public acknowledgement at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. When Hamilton was asked whether having a girlfriend had contributed to his happier mood, he responded, “And of course, of course it’s Kim.”

Hamilton’s latest Instagram post adds to the growing number of personal moments the pair have chosen to share publicly. While the carousel includes Kardashian in relaxed holiday settings as well as alongside Hamilton away from the track, it also offers a glimpse of how much their relationship has become part of both their public lives.

For two stars who have spent much of the year at the centre of relationship speculation, the latest images provide another indication that Kardashian and Hamilton are no longer keeping their connection entirely out of view.
