Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s First Outing Since Their Engagement

Published

on

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have made their first public appearance as an engaged couple, attending a college football game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Thursday evening. The Cincinnati Bearcats, Kelce’s alma mater, faced the Nebraska Cornhuskers, but the focus of the night inevitably drifted towards the pair in the stands.

Swift, 35, chose a cream cable-knit vest with a Balenciaga denim mini skirt and Louis Vuitton boots, adding a pastel-blue Celine handbag for contrast. Her engagement ring, an old mine brilliant-cut diamond created with jeweller Kindred Lubeck, drew particular attention as it caught the stadium lights.

Kelce, also 35, leaned into the occasion with Bearcats-themed gear layered over a striped Nike x Supreme shirt, a nod to his university years. The couple were joined by his brother Jason and by Patrick and Brittany Mahomes in an executive box, where the group watched the match in characteristically animated fashion.

The outing came only two days after their announcement on Instagram. The joint post, showing Kelce proposing in a flower-filled garden, carried the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” The light-hearted phrasing struck a chord with followers, and the images circulated widely within hours.

Reactions to their appearance at Arrowhead were equally swift. Fans celebrated their relaxed demeanour, though Nebraska’s athletics account briefly stirred controversy with a mocking post that was quickly deleted.

For Swift, still immersed in her Eras Tour, and Kelce, preparing for the start of a new NFL season, the evening offered a rare interlude. More than the ring or the fashion choices, what stood out was their ease with each other, a quiet confidence that suggested their engagement has already settled into something assured and natural.

Kris Jenner on Aging, Power and Reinvention in Vogue

Published

on

Kris Jenner has spent decades reinventing herself, and her latest appearance in Vogue Arabia is arguably her boldest yet. At 69, on the verge of turning 70, she graces the September cover, styled by Law Roach and photographed by Norman Jean Roy. The shoot captures her enduring presence and authority, a reminder that she remains a force in both fashion and popular culture.

Jenner has never let age dictate her presence. “This is ageing gracefully. It’s my version,” she tells Vogue, confirming what sparked global speculation earlier this year: she has had another facelift. She addresses it openly, with the support of her daughters, Kylie by her side and Kim joining via FaceTime. For Jenner, these decisions are about personal happiness, not public approval.

This openness extends beyond cosmetic choices. Jenner has shared other personal milestones, from her hip replacement to beauty treatments, framing them as part of her evolving life. Rather than hiding behind privacy, she takes control of the narrative, showing that transparency can be empowering.

Her influence stretches well beyond aesthetics. Since launching Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2007, Jenner has run the family brand with precision and warmth. Now spanning 27 seasons across multiple platforms, the Kardashian-Jenner empire remains one of the most profitable in contemporary culture, with Kris at its centre.

What makes this Vogue feature compelling is her frank perspective on ageing and relevance. Retirement is not under consideration. Inspired by her mother, who worked into her eighties, Jenner imagines herself fully engaged in her work well into her 80s. For her, both family and business are lifelong commitments.

Even in a culture obsessed with youth, Jenner proves that influence and reinvention only grow stronger with time. As she approaches her 70th birthday, she is a reminder that authority, presence and confidence are qualities that age does not diminish and perhaps even sharpen.
