Camilla chose a delicate floral dress, paired with nude pumps. A Fedora-style hat with a neat bow completed the ensemble. Her jewellery combined personal and historic touches: diamond floral and pearl drop earrings, a four-row pearl choker with a round diamond clasp, a gold pendant engraved with her grandchildren’s initials, and the Minoru Brooch, an Edwardian piece commemorating King Edward VII’s Derby-winning horse.

During her visit, Camilla met representatives from local charities supported by the racecourse and spoke with members of the Yorkshire racing community. She also observed the RAF Falcons display team perform a parachute jump over the course, adding a spectacular note to the day’s proceedings.
A Memorable Presence
Her appearance highlighted the monarchy’s support for equestrian sports and charitable initiatives. By the end of the day, Camilla combined poise with approachability, leaving a lasting impression at one of the UK’s most celebrated racing events.
